On a visit to London, UK, Alayne and Jason spent a rainy walk back to their hotel discussing all of the local gins they had tasted. Feeling inspired to experiment with this classic spirit, Jason began cataloging flavors to create his own version of a London Dry gin—a classic gin with a Sheringham-edge. Johnny Handsome is ready to come out to play. Unveiled on November 22, 2019, he is rough around the edges but deeply refined kind of spirit with the soul of a centenarian but the body of a barrel-chested Viking that will knock you off your feet. Our Rhubarb Gin is an exciting kick off to summer! First, we start with locally grown rhubarb from Vancouver Island farmers harvested in May and June. Second, we freeze then press the rhubarb for its juice. finally combining it with our specially designed gin and a little bit of sugar to balance. With no colour or additives, this gin is best enjoyed fresh and finished soon after opening, but we doubt it will last that long! Combine it with a premium tonic and ice for a refreshingly summer cocktail. We love Fever Tree Cucumber tonic paired with Rhubarb Gin.
